At Walden Pet Services, we believe pet care should feel personal, joyful, and dependable – for both pets and the people who care for them.

We’re a long-standing local pet care company (serving Concord, Carlisle, Maynard, Acton, and Lincoln, MA since 1998!) made up of animal lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and genuinely kind humans. We value clear communication, showing up when you say you will, and building real relationships with pets and their people.

Yes, we take our work seriously – but we also laugh a lot, spend our days outside, and get paid to hang out with some pretty great dogs and cats.

We’re looking for team members who:

  • Availability at least 3 weekdays a week, with a 4+ hour block between 9AM–6PM

  • A reliable, insured, pet-friendly car (we supply seatbelts + seat covers)

  • Smartphone with camera, GPS, and internet access

  • Be comfortable driving, walking, and working outdoors in all weather and seasons

What we do:

  • We are in the peace-of-mind business. We provide reliable care for pet parents who are busy working or traveling, or who just want their pet to have extra attention and exercise!

  • We walk, hike, play with, and care for dogs (and cats!), visiting pets in their homes for neighborhood walks and visits, or heading out for adventures on local trails

  • As a pet care provider with Walden Pet, you will drive yourself to these visits, check in and check out using our mobile app, and write informative updates with pictures to let clients know how their pets and homes are doing.
